Hey was an early adopter to robotics and has extensive experience in both robotic Bariatric and General surgery. He is one of the founders of Robotic Bariatric Collaboration and a KOL for SurgeOn. His bariatric practice Robotic only and performs sleeves, Bypasses, SADI-S and Duodenal Switch. Rich DiCicco, MD: Rich DiCicco (dee chico) practices in Tampa, FL and has been in full time bariatrics since 2004 after finishing his general surgery residency in Baltimore. His hospital was the first in the area to get a da Vinci Xi in 2015 where he was introduced to robotics. His practice is currently exclusively robotic and he has completed over 2100 robotic bariatric operations since 2015. He started Robotic Bariatric Collaboration in 2017 with the assistance of Dr. Peery. He performs hand sewn gastric bypass, sleeves, DS, SADIs and many revisional bariatric operations. He hosts one of the busiest intuitive bariatric case observation epicenters with his partner Dr. Amit Taggar. Bobby Bhasker-Rao, MD: Bobby Bhasker-Rao is a bariatric surgeon that practices out of Palm Springs CA. He is the Founder and Director of the Eisenhower Bariatric Center. He is considered an early adopter of Robotics in Bariatric Surgery and has completed well over 2000 Robotic Bariatric procedures. His case mix includes sleeves, bypasses, revisions and conversions. He currently remains on faculty for intuitive surgical, and hosts several hands-on robotic bariatric training courses and case obs for surgeons on the west coast. Monique Hassan, MD: Monique Hassan is a metabolic and bariatric surgeon and an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at The Baylor College of Medicine. After her 2017 honorable discharge from the Army, Dr. Hassan completed her Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. She then joined the Baylor Scott and White Department of Surgery in Temple, TX. She converted her total practice to the Da Vinci platform in 2021.
